Mark Grainger Resigns
It is with great regret that Atherstone Town Chairman, Rob Weale, accepted the resignation of first team manager, Mark Grainger.

Mark wished us to pass on his thanks to the staff and players with whom he had created a special bond. Mark reserved special praise for the genuine fans of the Club who were fully supportive. Martin Sockett also wishes to pass on his thanks to all at the Club. Mark cited that it was the most difficult decision to make. He will now be able to spend more time with his family.

Chairman Robert Weale said "No-one lives and breathes the Club more than Mark. He epitomises the true meaning of dedication. Not only did Mark work hard as first team manager, but performed many other duties and tasks off the pitch and behind the scenes. We would like to thank Mark for all his hard work over the years. We wish him well for his future and Mark knows that he will be welcome at Atherstone Town Football Club anytime. "
