At Atherstone Town F.C, we believe that a vital “football trinity” exists that gives our club its amazing atmosphere: the fans who pay their money to come and watch the team play football, and players and manager who entertain and win for the fans, and the club’s owners and backroom staff who work behind the scenes to make everything happen. Our club magazine is how we bridge the gap and spread knowledge and excitement throughout these parts of our club. Every week, fans can purchase our magazine and find out about the latest goings on at our club, read interviews with members of the playing squad, and read the manager’s notes on upcoming games. We also have a fan’s Q&A section where the best letters and emails sent to the club from fans each week are published together with a response from someone at the club.

We do our very best to ensure that our match-days and other club events are comfortable and enjoyable experiences for attending fans. For this reason, we provide a catering service that provides a wide variety of food and drink at affordable prices. Our most popular food item is our lamb burger with spicy fries and salad. We also provide the seaside style cod and chips with green pickles for those who fancy a bit of fish. We provide the full range of popular soft drinks: Coke, Diet Coke, Pepsi, Fanta, Sprite and Ginger Beer. We also provide bottled still and sparkling water, as well as bags of Walkers crisps and various chocolate bars. We have learned from past experience that it is best not to serve alcohol at football matches, but we do provide Shandy as a substitute.

We take great pride in our stadium, our pitch and our training ground, and if you visit our club for the guided tour or come along one match-day, you’ll see the evidence of that for yourself. We have advertising hoardings, a scoreboard, loud-speakers, a car park and a kitchen to provide our catering service. We have seating for disabled spectators. We have safety-conscious turn-styles that prevent people from being crushed against them in the event of a massive queue. We unfortunately are not able to allow dogs into our stadium, not even guide dogs, because of the risk that they will run onto the pitch and chase after the football, thus causing embarrassment to our wonderful football club. We have male, female and disabled lavatories available all around the stadium as well as baby changing facilities. We wish to acknowledge the support of our sponsor, London based personal training courses provider Discovery UK, without whom we could not afford our impressive facilities.
