Your hosts in the social club are Ken Grainger, 64, and his wife, Maureen, 63, who are no strangers to pulling pints. They ran the White Horse pub in Long Street, Atherstone, for 14 years.
Prior to that, Maureen had acquired a 'taste' for the trade through her dad Ted Tranter who was steward at Stockingford Cons Club, Nuneaton, for eight years and then ran the King William agt Chapel Ed, Nuneaton, friom 1965 until he retired in 1984.
"I was 12 when I pulled my first pint," Maureen revealed.
Sherrie, 42, will this season run a snacks bar in the building, shared by the Club Shop, which has been refurbished internally.
